The sports community should be welcoming and safe for everyone.
Children and youth should feel secure and thrive when they train and compete.
This page is intended for anyone who might find themselves in vulnerable situations within sports.
What is Safe Sport?
Safeguarding means that everyone responsible for sports takes steps to ensure that everybody feel safe and thrive when they attend training sessions and competitions.
Who can ask?
Anyone can ask.
The counseling service is for anyone involved in Faroese sports who needs to talk to someone.
This can include athletes, coaches, helpers, board members, parents, and others.
It doesn’t matter what age you are.
Everything is confidential, and you can talk about and ask whatever you feel like or need help with.
Need help to join a club?
If you are new in town, it is possible to ask for help to find a sport or club that fits you.
It is also possible to apply for financial support to pay for membership.
